Don't forget to register for Fall.  

If you register for the morning or afternoon 

preschool class with Pathways or the 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

 preschool class, your child can eat lunch at school!

In Pathways we learned through experimenting 

with food (and eating it, too!)

We always say a prayer before we eat.

Wednesday we made animal cracker sandwiches
and talked about our favorite animals.

We took our cooking lessons out to the
playground and pretended to make a cake.

One day we used the colors of fruits and
vegetables to do some painting.

Thursday the 1st Year preschoolers went to the Zoo.
In Pathways we talked about the animals they
 saw and then made edible caterpillars.

We used crescent rolls and rolled out the body.

Then we made other features with pretzels,
avocados, cheese and skittles!

Another day we used pretzel rods and licorice to see what
the kids wanted to make.  They decided to go "fishing"!

Later they decided they wanted to paint and together
made this craft.  May I present..."Piggy City"!

Room 2 also had fun with food with these Alphabet Pops.

They are learning colors and letters.

Room 2 had a special story time with Miss Jen last week.

At the Zoo!

The first year classes enjoyed their visit to the Zoo.
The Merry-Go-Round was a big hit for everyone.
Lots of animals enjoyed the chatter of the classes as they
visited the Children's Zoo and saw where the animals live.

Mix It Up

Pathways had another fun week!

In Room 4 we talked about April showers.

We cut out and painted umbrellas with water colors.

The end of the week was Purple Day!

We painted on the easel and named purple things.

We mixed red and blue to see what would happen.

We also mixed purple with white to
make different shades of purple.

Powder Valley

The Pre-k classes had a fun field trip 

to Powder Valley where they learned 

how animals sound, move and live!

Look, up in the sky!

We had fun in Pathways last week making 

crafts that had to do with the sky.

We used our cutting skills.

We created beautiful designs on one side and saw the pattern
appear on the other side when we folded it over.

We talked about what we can see in the sky that flies.

Another day we talked about when we see rainbows.

The sun is something else we see up in the sky!

We made clouds, too, and talked about how different they can be.

We decorated the hall with our creations.
