Summer Snacks

We made special summer snacks
in Room 4 last week.
Room 2 painted on the easel.
We put ingredients into a bag,
then into another bag with salt and ice.

We shook the bag while we danced around.
 It turned into ice cream!

Our ice cream day included making cones out of play-doh.

The kids could also create using other materials.

Thursday we colored icing blue like water and added fish
to make an ocean scene for our snack.

We also painted or glitter glued a fish bowl.

Don't Spill the Beans!

Room 2 also having special "snacks".

First time at the easel - getting ready
to move up to preschool!

Look at those building skills!

Refreshing treats

We had lemonade and popsicles
in Room 4 last week while
Room 2 did yarn painting
and played in the tunnel.
We used a square sponge to paint ice cubes
in our glass of lemonade.

During the day we talked about other fruits
that can be used in drinks.

We tasted lemons and decided they are sour.

Thursday we made a cute popsicle craft.

Of course we had popsicles at snack time!

Having a great time in the gym.

Playing with the parachute.

Room 2 painting with yarn.

Tunnel time!

Play time in Room 6.

Hit the Beach

Even though we had some rainy days
last week we still visited the beach.
Tuesday in Room 4 we made beach scenes and wrote
what see at the beach and what we like to do.

Thursday we made flip-flops on the edge of the water.

We talked about all the different types of
shoes we put on our feet.

Room 2 made fishy puppets out of
their hand prints.

They also played with Play-Doh.

Buddies.
