Last Days of Summer

We had fun splashing in the water

out on the playground enjoying

our last sunny days together

while also looking forward to 

school starting up in a few weeks.

Olympic Fever

We've got Olympic Fever

this week in Room 4!

The torch has arrived!

We talked about what is going on at the games,
the different countries and different sports.

We created the Olympic rings using Nilla wafers.

Of course we all received gold medals!!

We talked a lot about the different events
and even watched a little bit live.

Room 2 made pizza.

Under the Sea

Room 2 went under the sea last

 week while Room 4 explored

ants and transportation.

We learned about the sea and
made jellyfish in Room 2.

This "ocean-in-a-bottle" was very entertaining.

We "fished" in the sea-foam sensory table.

Room 4 stayed on land and learned about ants.

We made these cute snacks.

Thursday the topic moved to transportation and travel.

We can make a train out of shapes.

We can also make a train out of food!

We stamped our passports to go to the Olympics.

Take a plane, of course!

We had swim days again last week

for Rooms 2 and 4!

Room 6 enjoyed the playground, too!

Room 4 made sailboats to go along with our water theme.

We also made these star wreaths.
