Painting and Cooking

Our last days in Room 4 have been 

filled with painting and cooking.

We tested out sponges, big brushes and small brushes.

We used these different items to
paint whatever we wanted.

Another day we had a flower theme for our painting.

Friday we talked about beverages.  The kids painted
pitchers with ice cubes, straws, and a drink.

"Hey, Kool-Aid!"

This week we turned to cooking.
Here we are mixing up Rainbow Cake.

We love cooking!

The Preschool Classes celebrated all
 of summer's patriotic holidays by
making and eating flag toast!

The Great Outdoors

The wonderful weather has inspired the children in 

Pathways to make some beautiful projects!

Room 4 made some giant flowers to put up in the hall.

The kids told us what flowers they like
and what flowers they have at home.

We talked about birds and how
different they can be.

Thursday we named all the different kinds of hats we
could think of and why we need them.

Then we made our own stylish versions!

in their new hats!  Also notice
the "B"s we made earlier in
the week on the wall.

For Mother's Day we made hand-print vases with flowers.

We wrote special notes inside for our very special Moms!

Closing Program

The Pre-K classes have been working hard to learn 

some special songs to sing at their Closing Program.
