Pre-K is busy preparing for our "graduation".

Tomorrow we will be taking

 pictures to capture the moment.

Special Days

It was Cooking Week in Room 4 last week!

Making cookies is often a fun time spent
with someone special.  

We shaped and decorated sugar cookies. 

Last Monday was President's Day.  We
talked about why that is an important day.

We made flags out of cookies and fruit.

Camping is fun to do with your family
and friends.  We made our own campfires.

What else do you make to eat with
 a campfire, but S'mores?!?

Rm 6 is having a good time with food, too!

Room 2 is working on the color Purple.

Valentine's Day Parties

We hear that February is the month of Love.  

 Our preschool parties last Thursday 

and Friday were lots of fun!

Many Moms and Dads have stopped by 

the office to sign up for the 2015/2016 

school year.  Please reserve your spot 

for September.  We have forms and 

information in the office. You are the best!!

Hearts & Flowers

We made crafts using heart shapes and also 

made Valentines for our loved ones

 last week in Pathways Room 4.

What animals can we paint using a heart shape?

We painted Valentines.

We also made flowers out of hearts.

We made cards for our friends and family.

Fitness Fun

Extended Day Pre-Kindergarteners

 had fun using their imaginations in

 Fitness and Movement Class this week! 

Animals Abound

It was a wild week in Pathways with 

discussions about different types of animals.

In Room 4 we made our own Groundhogs

and talked about the yearly tradition of the Groundhog
predicting early spring or more winter.

Another day we made rainbow "fish" out of hearts.

Where do fish live? What colors are they?

Do you have your own fish at home?

Friday we talked about cats: lions, tigers,
our pets, etc. and then made our own.

Room 2 has been getting ready
for Valentine's Day.

They are also learning shapes and colors!

and sometimes just chillin'!

Groundhog Day

Will spring  be coming soon or will 

we still have this cold weather?  

The preschoolers learned about 

Punxsutawney Phil and his 

"scientific" weathercasting!!
