The Preschoolers are enjoying

the great weather at recess.

They love the great climbing

equipment and being together.

How's the Weather?

We have been learning about

the Weather in Pathways.

The warmer weather has brought new life.

We made these tissue paper flowers in Room 4.

We also talked about the weather and how rain
helps the plants grow.

Can you count the raindrops?

Clouds can be different shapes and colors.

The kids made and named their own cloud pictures.

We also did a cloud and rain experiment.

If it rains outside we play in the gym.

Pre-K has started practicing their 

graduation songs and the 

Lord's Prayer for our ceremony 

on May 25th at 10:30 a.m.

Spring Cooking

Room 4 made some tasty treats

in the classroom last week!

Spring is in the air with these beautiful Rainbow cookies.

Cookie dough was colored and shaped, then
 marshmallows were added to make clouds.

Cereal was used to make these colorful
butterflies - a sign of new life for Spring!

Ninja turtles were created another day.
We talked about real vs. fake animals.

Welcome to the Pizzeria!

We spread sauce on the pizza dough, added pepperonis and
cheese, rolled, sliced into pinwheels and baked.

In the morning (in preschool) the kids made mice. We got
into a discussion about what mice eat while we put on the
cheese - Stella even knew about Havarti cheese
because she had that for lunch!

Friday we made fish-shaped cookies.

We read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" to
go with our red and blue fish!

Welcome Spring!

Welcome back from our Spring Break

and Easter Celebration!

I'm sure the parents heard all about
 how the Easter Bunny made a mess
in the preschool rooms!

He also left some fun treats!

This week we reviewed the wonderful
news of Christ's Resurrection.

We also made some beautiful projects.

As we say goodbye to March the excitement is
building for warmer weather and longer days.

Holiday Fun

Pathways was having a good time

before Spring Break celebrating

St. Patrick's Day and getting 

ready for Easter!

We made these hats for St. Patty's Day.

We learned colors by painting rainbows.

On Thursday the 17th we painted green kites
for St. Patrick's Day.

Friday we made footprint bunnies! The kids used a
sponge to stamp the head and bodies and used their
fingertips to make the face.

Their own feet were painted to
make the feet of the bunnies.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Room 2 worked on their fine motor skills
and made these beautiful flower pictures
with their finger prints.

They also did noodle lacing
and made necklaces.
