Good Choices

We learned about making good choices and

 being good helpers to our families and friends.

Making good decisions now will help us as 

we grow up and reach our goals in life.

Being responsible for ourselves is a way

to show others that we are growing up.

Telling the Story

Room 4 has been making 

lots of cool books!

March came in like a lion!

We talked about what that phrase means
and the crazy weather we have been having.

In our books we wrote about our favorite animal.

With St. Patrick's Day coming we made
"Pot-O-Gold" books.  Inside we said what
we would buy with all the gold.

Easter Egg books were authored next.

We wrote about what we do to celebrate the day.

Friday we made Cross books.

We talked again about how we celebrate the holiday.

We also talked both days about the meaning of Easter.

Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins
 and rose on Easter morning.

In like a lion

March came in like a lion with

high winds and dropping temperatures.

We stayed warm playing in the gym.

March Holidays

St. Patrick's Day and Easter

are coming soon, so we are

getting started on our 

March holiday crafts.

Shaving cream, glue and food coloring were mixed
to make a puffy paint for our leprechaun's beard.

The kids glued on the hat and drew the band.

Then they drew faces and scooped on the beard.

Friday we made hand-print bunnies.

Googly eyes, a pom-pom nose and
yarn whiskers were added.

Some colorful grass completed the look.

Another day we celebrated the cold by making
 "frozen paint" art.

We finger-painted on aluminum foil.

We play in the gym when we can't go outside.

Room 2 learning by stacking and counting.

Room 6 likes to stack blocks, too!

Hello from After Care!

Hurry Up, Spring!

The kids are ready for warm weather

and playground time, but loved

the early week snowfall.

We say Goodbye to the month of "LOVE"
and welcome to St. Pat's and Easter
 as we March into Spring time fun!!!

Honoring our Presidents

After a day off last Monday, Room 4

celebrated Presidents' Day by making

flags and learning about our country.

We cut strips of paper for the flag stripes.

Then we added the stars.

We talked about what the flag means.

God Bless America!

Other days we made George Washington and
more flags to decorate our hallway.

Thursday we used tissue to make a different kind of flag.

Friday we used lots of colorful yarn.

 

Each child decided what letter or shape
they wanted to cut out and decorate.

Projects all ready to go home!
