Welcome Back - Pathways

We have been having fun in Pathways

starting a new year,

getting used to our new rooms,

seeing old friends and making new ones!

In Room 4, the kids are free to draw, cut, glue and create!

Last Friday we talked about the changing
seasons and made leaf rubbings.

Each day we do something different!

Other days we talked about apples and love.

Something interesting on the playground...

 (We saved him and put him in the grass)

Frame It

We made frames in Room 4 to

remember our fun summer.

We colored a picture for the inside.

We all said what was our favorite part of summer.

The popsicle stick frames were painted.

How's the Weather?

We enjoyed the sunny weather with

 Water Days for Rooms 2 & 4!

Room 4 continued the weather conversation
 indoors by making weather pictures.

We talked about all the different kinds of weather.

See the lightning?

At the end of the day, we made our own "thunder"
by shaking marbles inside a container.

The kids used markers to color pretty sunny day drawings.

We also used paint to make weather
 pictures of sun, snow, etc.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles

Last week we had a Transportation

theme in Room 4.

We used cars with paint to drive
around on paper and make a picture.

Our snack was a car made out of fruit.

A track was put together and we took turns driving.

Planes were also made with bananas,
marshmallow windows and pretzel wings.

A train car was made using crackers with
marshmallows for wheels and a load of "logs"!

Paper airplanes were made and
then flown in the gym.

Fun in Room 6!
