Police Visit

We are speeding through the month, 

racing to Halloween!

All of our friends SLOWED DOWN though,

to hear and see our Police Officer visitor.

We learned about Halloween safety, such as
being safe crossing the street, using a flashlight
and having our parents check our candy.

We also talked about Stranger Danger and
what to do if we ever get lost.

Halloween is in the air and Pathways 

has been busy making some fun crafts.

For Orange Day we made crazy hand-print pumpkins.

We have also been reading fun Halloween books.

For Friday's Orange Day we cut out our own pumpkins.

We counted out 10 pumpkin seeds to put inside.

Making Our Own Books

Room 4 authored their

own books this past week.

A couple days we talked about food: What is your
favorite? What do you use to eat with?

Each day we made a different cover and created
a unique story that was made into a book.

Thursday we talked about Fall and what the kids like
to do outside in the changing weather.

Friday we talked about everyone's favorite animals.

Making Apple Crisps

Welcome October Days!

We started stirring up

some fun this week.

Our little chefs prepared Apple Crisps.

Mixing, measuring and spreading the yummy ingredients.

The best part...eating the finished treat!

The weather is getting cooler and Halloween
talk is in the air at Resurrection.
