Picture Day

What beautiful smiles for our picture days!  The weather is cooling off outside and 

the Preschool halls are bustling with Halloween excitement.  Yay October days!!!!

Pathways Fun

We have been keeping busy lately in Pathways with lots 

of educational and fun activities!

Room 4 made puzzles: apples, tigers, squares.

Next we learned about sponges - wet vs.  dry, real vs. fake, hard vs. soft.

We also played games with the sponges

and stamped Halloween pictures with them.

On Friday we saw that shapes are all around us.

We made trains and cars out of circles and rectangles.

Room 2 had fun building with blocks,

taking a break,

petting a friend,

and hearing a story!

Let's Sing

Music to our ears!  Preschool started Music Class with Miss Janell.

What can I make?

In Pathways last week we experimented with different materials.

We made our own books in Room 4.

We used construction paper, markers, paint, dobbers, yarn, colored pencils and more!

We talked about different subjects each day and made our books special.

We made Play-Doh in Room 2.

Mixing all the ingredients and colors was fun.

Playing with it was even more fun!

Fire Safety

We talked about fire and fire safety this week.  

The fire department visited us and we made paper flames to take home.

Fun with Food

Last week in Pathways we got to play with our food!  

We talked about where food comes from, who does the cooking, hot vs. cold, 

colors and shapes, liquids and solids, and healthy foods.

Cooking Time

We learned that we need to gather ingredients, measure, mix, and then 

bake to create something special.  We created "Apple Biscuits".  

We ended the week by celebrating "Blue Day".
