What a great week in the Early Education Wing!  Lots of snow art and excitement about the possibility of more snow in the future! What a great turn out on our Open House night.  It was such a joy to see our families and friends.

In Chapel this week we used heavy books to represent the burden of sin. We learned that talking with Jesus lightens our load.

Celebrating Christmas

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the school

The children saw Santa and thought it was cool.

The art projects were hung in the hallway with care,

While celebrating parties with parents there.

Gifts of Christmas

The preschool classes watched a movie called "Timmy's Gift". This helped us focus on the true meaning of Christmas. In the spirit of giving, the kids each made a special gift to give to their parents.

Red Day

Merry Christmas! The celebration of Jesus' birth begins with a wonderful story of God's love for us. Each child received a candy cane as we shared the message from the book (The Candy Cane). Our holiday week continued with red day and lots of talk about Christmas morning and wishes for presents.
